This position will involve analyzing business opportunities and selection of partners within the supply chain to support the strategic direction and success of the business.Main Duties And ResponsibilitiesIdentify, evaluate and develop new naval business opportunities and new market potentialPerform analysis of naval market trends, competitor activities, and economic indicators to uncover opportunities and assess risksEnsure naval business solutions and models are in line with profitability projections and economic efficiencyDevelop solutions and value propositions for various naval related business opportunitiesAssess and engage with potential customers and partners to drive existing and new naval business potentialSkills & KnowledgeUnderstanding of government, defence and naval industry and key players in the supply chain, and other relevant market stakeholdersExperience and strong network with the naval and defence industry, technology, products, and a technical and commercial understanding of naval and defence contractsUnderstanding marine vessels, propulsion systems, technology and engineering solutionsAttitude & DispositionDemonstrates a strong work ethic and a collaborative and consultative, adaptable approach to teamworkStrong communication, interpersonal, analytical and commercial skillsDetail-oriented and highly organized, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficientlyThis is an exciting opportunity to join a company that provides a collaborative working environment and fantastic opportunity for training, as well as personal and career growth opportunities within the business.
