Job Title: Business Development Manager – PolandLocation: Warsaw; PolandSalary: 200,000 + Polish Zloty (PLN) depending on experienceWhat You’ll Be DoingDevelop and implement strategies to expand the company’s presence and order intake within the Polish marketBuild and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders across government, defence, and industry sectorsProvide market insight and strategic advice on local politics, procurement processes, and business opportunitiesIdentify and shape new business opportunities in collaboration with internal Lines of BusinessSupport campaigns and bids by advising on customer needs, cultural context, and regulatory requirementsRepresent the company at events, exhibitions, and forums to enhance visibility and reputationMaintain an accurate and current overview of business activities, opportunities, and partnerships in PolandMonitor competitor activity and assess market trends to inform strategic planningEnsure all business development activities comply with company governance, ethical standards, and operational frameworksYour Skills And ExperiencesFluency in Polish and English, with the ability to build effective relationshipsExperience in frontline business development within the defence sector, or in a related government or military roleEstablished network and trusted relationships with key stakeholders in the Polish Ministry of Defence, including the Armaments Policy Department (DPZ), the Armaments Agency (AU), and the Polish Armed ForcesSolid understanding of national politics, defence policy, and the wider industrial environmentIn-depth knowledge of Poland’s defence and security procurement system, including awareness of current and future capability requirementsThe Business Development TeamThis role sits within our Head Office Group Business Development (GBD) function, reporting to the Country Director based in Poland. Working closely with colleagues across our Lines of Business and wider corporate functions, you’ll play a central part in shaping and delivering our growth strategy in one of Europe’s most dynamic defence markets. With significant increases in national defence spending and a broad portfolio of projects underway, this is an exciting opportunity to represent the company in Poland, connecting our business to customers, partners, and government stakeholders. The role combines strategic influence with hands-on delivery — from providing market insight and supporting bids and campaigns, to advising on policy and procurement.
