Business Development Manager (Ports & Terminals)

The Business Development Manager at Saigon Premier Container Terminal (SPCT), which belongs to DP World, a terminal specializing in Ro-Ro, general cargo, and container services, is responsible for developing the sales plan within the assigned customer target group, developing the value proposition, and driving the opportunity from identification until business award.Key Accountabilities:Grow revenue in assigned customer segment by formulating and executing comprehensive sales strategies to deliver sustainable revenue growth, within assigned portfolio.Build and maintain the customer relationships by cultivating strong, long-term relationships with key clients, including automakers, BCOs, and shipping lines, to ensure customer retention and maximize revenue from value-added services.Market analysis and opportunity identification through conducting market research to identify new business opportunities, analyzing competitor activities, and tailoring service offerings to meet the evolving needs of customers in the terminal handling sector.Negotiate Contracts and Agreements, drive revenue growth through value-added services, maintain CRM and provide regular reports.Collaborate with operations and other department to ensure seamless service delivery and address customer requirements effectively.Represent SPCT in industry event, ensure compliance and customer satisfaction.Qualifications, Skills and Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in related field with 5 years of working experience in the port and terminal industry.Solid knowledge of port and terminal offerings, operational solutions, network structures, pricing strategies, and industry-specific terminology.Demonstrate success in identifying, pursuing, and securing major business opportunities through both individual initiative and teamwork, across competitive and non-competitive sales environments.Proficiency in use of EnglishDP World is committed to the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).
