Job Description

We are seeking a high-performing BDR/SDR Lead to spearhead and scale our Business Development team across the APAC region . Based in either Singapore or Beijing , you will lead a growing team responsible for pipeline generation, outbound sales strategy, and early-stage opportunity development.You should be an exceptional player-coach with a strong track record in outbound sales, demand generation, and leadership, ready to drive regional strategy, mentor junior talent, and align closely with Marketing and Account Executives to fuel revenue growth.What the Business Development Manager will do:Player-Coach (First 6 Months): Act as both a hands-on contributor and team leader during the initial onboarding periodPersonally engage high-value prospects alongside the team to model best practices in outbound sales and pipeline generationMentor and coach BDR/SDRs in real-time, providing feedback on messaging, outreach, and follow-up techniquesIdentify gaps and opportunities in processes, tools, and workflows while actively contributing to sales targetsLead, hire, train, and coach the APAC BDR/SDR team to achieve pipeline generation and lead conversion goalsDevelop and optimize outbound sales processes, cadences, and workflows tailored to APAC market dynamicsSet clear KPIs, track performance, and ensure consistent reporting and accountabilityWork closely with regional Account Executives and Marketing to develop high-converting campaignsOwn and refine the outbound prospecting strategy, including messaging, targeting, and tool optimization (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)Personally engage high-value prospects to model best-in-class outbound practicesReport on team performance, insights, and forecasts to regional and global sales leadershipStay ahead of trends in APAC markets and continuously optimize strategy accordinglyExperience and skills that the candidate can bring:5+ years of experience in BDR/SDR, Inside Sales, or Sales Development roles, with at least 3+ years in a management or team lead roleProven success building and scaling outbound sales teams in fast-paced, high-growth environmentsStrong understanding of APAC markets and cultural nuances in sales outreach and buyer behaviorData-driven approach with deep knowledge of sales tools, CRMs, and automation platformsExcellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skillsFluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantageWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
