We’re now seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to join our team, with a focus on leveraging content strategy to drive brand partnerships.Role OverviewThis role is centered on developing and executing content-driven strategies to forge and grow brand partnerships—*no prior sales experience required*. You’ll be the bridge between our agency and brands, using your expertise in e-commerce content planning to design tailored strategies that align with platform dynamics and brand goals. Your work will directly contribute to scaling our clients’ presence on key e-commerce platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with brands to design customized e-commerce content strategies, leveraging platform-specific features (e.g., TikTok’s short-video trends, Lazada/Shopee’s product listing optimization, live-stream dynamics).Analyze platform trends (TikTok, Lazada, Shopee) and user behavior to recommend data-backed content tactics that boost brand visibility, engagement, and conversions.Partner with internal teams (operations, creative, analytics) to translate strategy into actionable plans, ensuring seamless execution of content campaigns for clients.Build and nurture long-term relationships with brands, understanding their evolving needs and proactively proposing strategy adjustments to drive growth.Document and share insights on content performance, platform updates, and industry best practices to refine our service offerings.What We’re Looking For1+ years of experience in e-commerce content strategy/ planning (e.g., designing content calendars, optimizing product stories, crafting live-stream scripts, or leveraging platform algorithms).Familiarity with TikTok, Lazada, and Shopee (platform rules, content trends, and operational nuances) is strongly preferred.Fluency in Mandarin, English, and Malay (verbal and written) to communicate effectively with brands, internal teams, and platform stakeholders.Strong strategic thinking and creativity, with a track record of using content to solve e-commerce challenges (e.g., low conversion rates, weak brand awareness).Excellent collaboration skills—you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to turn strategy into results.No sales experience required—we prioritize expertise in content strategy over traditional sales backgrounds.What We OfferCompetitive base salary + performance-based bonuses (industry-leading structure).Monthly expense allowance for BD-related costs.Perfect attendance bonus (RM200/month for full attendance).Quarterly promotion opportunities based on performance.Flexible work environment with a focus on growth and skill development.Observance of Malaysian public holidays.If you’re passionate about e-commerce content strategy and eager to drive brand success on Southeast Asia’s top platforms, we’d love to hear from you!
