Business Development Manager , Jakarta (Umrah - Segment)Location: Jakarta Metropolitan Areatbo.com is seeking a dynamic, strategic, results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead new business acquisition efforts while also cultivating growth within newly onboarded accounts. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment and has the analytical and interpersonal skills to build long-term client relationships.Position Overview:The BDM will primarily focus on identifying, targeting, and acquiring new travel partners to expand our market presence. In addition to this hunting aspect, the role includes a farming component — ensuring new accounts are successfully integrated, nurtured, and developed to maximize revenue, transactions, and long-term value. This dual approach ensures a strong pipeline of new opportunities while driving continued success with recently secured clients.Key Responsibilities:Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-ups and outbound communications (calls and emails) within the respective market.Understand customer needs and requirements, answer client inquiries, and create plans to address their business needs — with a strong focus on promoting and supporting the Umrah product alongside other travel offerings.Create and manage bookings for all products to ensure customer engagement and satisfaction.Generate qualified opportunities for Sales Executives for further development and closure, working closely with the sales team to support agents and ensure a smooth booking workflow.Research accounts, identify key players, and generate market interest, particularly for the Umrah segment.Maintain and expand the database of prospects.Collaborate with Sales Executives to build a strong pipeline and provide local support when needed.Conduct effective online demos for prospects and explain product features.Ensure compliance with contract terms for both the company and clients.Advise clients on creating efficient and profitable processes.Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Finance, Operations, Offline, Revenue, etc.) to address customer needs.Ensure timely resolution of escalations from the customer service team or agents within your region, either directly or through Head Office support.Required Skills & Experience:Proven track record in consultative sales and B2B business development within the travel industry.Demonstrated experience in both new client acquisition and account development strategies.Strong negotiation and deal-closing capabilities with a focus on long-term value creation.Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze data and translate insights into action.Self-starter with high energy, motivation, and the ability to work independently.Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales reporting tools.
