Job Description

Yango Tech is looking for a Business Development Manager to work with enterprise and government clients in Angola across FinTech, MedTech, AI platforms, data centres, and public sector organisations.In this role, you will connect Yango Tech’s AI capabilities with customer needs, identify high-impact opportunities, structure pilot engagements, and guide transformation programs from concept to production in regulated, mission-critical environments. This is a strategic business development role combining commercial leadership, technical understanding, and stakeholder management.You will be responsible for:Building and owning long-term enterprise accounts and managing full sales cycles for complex, multi-million-dollar engagements in regulated industriesDeveloping and executing account strategies across FinTech institutions, healthcare systems, AI-native companies, data center operators, and government entitiesNavigating multi-stakeholder environments and engaging with senior government officials, board members, executives, and regulatory teamsBuilding and managing a pipeline from $250K pilot engagements to $5M–$20M+ multi-year infrastructure and platform contractsEmbedding with customer teams to understand operational challenges, regulatory constraints, and strategic objectivesIdentifying and qualifying AI use cases across payments, lending, clinical care, drug discovery, AI agents, compute infrastructure, and citizen servicesPartnering with Solution Architects to design pilot programs that demonstrate measurable value while meeting compliance requirementsLeading executive presentations, technical demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagementsGuiding customers from pilot to enterprise deployment and identifying expansion opportunities across verticalsMonitoring industry and regulatory developments across focus sectorsSharing customer insights with product and engineering teams to shape roadmap prioritiesContributing to market positioning through industry engagement and thought leadership activitiesYou might be a fit if you have:5–10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, or consultingExperience working with FinTech, HealthTech, AI platforms, infrastructure/cloud services, or government entitiesA proven track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals in regulated industriesExperience selling to enterprise financial institutions, healthcare systems, government entities, or infrastructure buyers in AfricaA background in consulting, investment banking, or high-growth technology environments (preferred)Deep expertise in at least one focus area (FinTech, MedTech, AI agents, data centers, or gov/city tech), with readiness to expand across othersFluency in English and Portuguese
