Business Development Representative (Mining)

Our client is a growing project delivery and resource development firm supporting large-scale mining and infrastructure projects across North America. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to help drive growth and strengthen client relationships as the company expands its operations.This is a full-time, in-office position based in downtown Vancouver.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate new business opportunities through calls, emails, and social outreach to prospective clients and partners.Schedule meetings and introductions for senior business development personnel.Support proposals, client follow-ups, and business development coordination.Attend networking events and industry functions to expand relationships and visibility.Maintain accurate client and lead data in the CRM system.Collaborate with leadership to refine outreach strategies and identify new markets.Occasionally travel for client meetings or industry events.Ideal Candidate1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles; experience in engineering, mining, or industrial sectors is an asset.Outgoing, self-motivated, and organized, with strong communication skills.Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.Curious and eager to learn about resource development and project delivery.Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred but not required.Why This OpportunityCompetitive compensation: $70,000–$80,000 base salary, plus commission (estimated at $10,000–$15,000) and performance-based bonus potential.Full health benefits and three weeks of vacation.Join a growing firm involved in advancing major mining and infrastructure projects across North America.Work closely with experienced professionals and industry leaders.In-office role with a dynamic and collaborative team environment.Opportunities for mentorship and professional development.Interested candidates are encouraged to send their resumes in Word document format to jordan.klair@torustalent.com.
