Leveraging your existing relationships and industry expertise to identify and secure new business opportunities will be important. Your primary focus will be on promoting our alternative investment solutions to wealth management and high-net-worth clients.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targetsLeveraging existing relationships: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing client/investment advisors ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and identifying opportunities for cross-sellingProspecting: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the wealth management industry and HNW clients, through networking and relationship-buildingDriving the integration of CRM platform into daily activitiesMeeting coordination: Pro-active prospecting and client outreach to set up meetings – one-on-one, branch and group meetingsSocial media: Support Timbercreek’s social media presence and digital marketing effortsClient Deliverable Management: Working with internal investment teams and helping them with investor relations-related work including investor presentations, due diligence questionnaires, quarterly reports, data room population, market maps, market research, etc. Introductory Meeting Preparation/Coordination/Follow-up: Putting together investor biographies, preparing initial and follow-up materialsFundraise Updates and Prospecting Lists: Drafting and maintaining fundraise updates to management on a weekly basis and developing lists of prospective investors for targeted outreachRoadshow Coordination: Organize roadshows and travel to meetings on an as-needed basisEvent Management: Planning and organizing events approximately once every quarterIdea generation, general support and ad hoc tasks Job RequirementsEducation and Experience:3-5 years of professional finance experience, preferably in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Investor Relations, Wealth Management or Sales Have completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Exempt Market Dealer (EMD certification), CAIA, CFA, CIM an assetPossess an undergraduate degree in finance, business, accounting, or an analytical field of studyProven track record of success in booking meetings and sales within the financial services industry, preferably with experience in alternative investmentsHave experience using a CRM tools including DynamicsHave advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPointExperience using LinkedIn and other relevant social media platforms Strong network of existing relationships within the investment advisor community, institutional and high-net-worth clients an assetQualifications:Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditionsHave strong written and verbal communication skillsHave strong interpersonal skillsActively interested and exploring AI and the application of AI to business activitiesBe bright and analytical, able to solve problems and make decisions using logical processesBe highly motivated and self-driven; demonstrates a bias for action and takes initiativeBe highly organized; proactively plans and organizes tasks, provides regular updates on progress and timelinesBe able to work independently as well as be a team playerDemonstrates ethical behavior and operates with honesty and integrity
