Role Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Manager – Business Development with a proven track record in the commodities sector (Brokerage House/PMEX). This role will lead strategic business development efforts, manage high-level client relationships, and drive revenue growth across multiple verticals. The ideal candidate will bring strong market insight, team leadership, and deal-closing expertise.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Business Development:Lead the development and execution of strategic plans to penetrate new markets and expand the company’s commodities trading footprint.Identify, evaluate, and secure high-value business opportunities.Build and maintain a pipeline of institutional and HNW clients in physical and financial commodities.Leadership & Team Oversight:Supervise and mentor mid-level BD professionals to ensure alignment with business goals.Set performance targets and KPIs, conduct reviews, and lead from the front to inspire high performance.Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to support business acquisition and client retention.Client Relationship Management:Cultivate long-term relationships with key clients and partners.Provide consultative selling and tailor solutions based on client portfolios and investment goals.Ensure exceptional service quality and manage key accounts with a high level of professionalism.Market & Product Knowledge:Stay updated on global and local commodity market trends, including PMEX offerings (gold, crude oil, indices, etc.).Analyse competitor activities and industry shifts to identify emerging opportunities.Represent the company in industry events and networking platforms.Requirements:Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.3+ years of experience in Business Development with a focus on commodities, trading, or financial markets.Strong understanding of PMEX operations, trading platforms, and commodity pricing.Demonstrated ability to lead teams and close large-volume deals.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and reporting dashboards.Strategic mindset with strong commercial acumen.What We Offer:Competitive base salary + performance-based incentive.Leadership role with high impact and autonomy.Ongoing learning, certifications, and career growth.Dynamic and collaborative work environment.Exposure to high-level trading and investment strategy formulation.
