Business Intelligence Analyst

This role would require from the candidate to get comfortable in both technical and business ways with Tradu data to an extent where s/he becomes a data expert and adviser for various ongoing and future projects, as well as is able to initiate new projects and make them a reality. The BI Analyst will also become a go-to person for a variety of business requests and will be expected to come up with the new initiatives for automation and reporting processes improvements.Primary responsibilities (not limited to)Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutionsDefine and lead business improvement projectsLiaise with business heads and other management on reporting optimizations and process improvement initiativesConsult management on data and analyzes associated with business goals, KPIs and benchmarksValidate, manipulate, and perform exploratory data analysis on datasetsReview, refine and document business requirements and processesDrive efficiency by designing and delivering tool enhancement and automationAnalyze and test new data sources for availability and quality, and integrate with internal sourcesClosely work with the rest of the Data Science and Analytics department: Data Science and Data warehouse teamsShare knowledge and expertise with other team members to enable continued team skills developmentRequirementsRequired:Superset, Tableau, SQL programming, Data Processing / Data Analysis / Data Mining / Data Manipulation / Data Extraction experience;Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development;Proactiveness;Strong interest to dig into big data and create meaningful insights that will drive business decisions;Excellent written and verbal communication and documentation skills;A team player who is detail-oriented with a high level of organizational skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality, multi-task, determine priorities and meet deadlines on time in a fast-paced business environment;A self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision;Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications;Strong project management, presentation, and organization skillsPreferred but not mandatory:Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills – Macros / Automation;Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.;Additional programming languages (VBA, Python);Some experience querying databases and using statistical computer languages: R, PythonWorking Hours: 40/week, Monday–Friday.
