About The RoleOur Enterprise and Reporting team require a Business Intelligence Analyst to transform data into strategic value, enabling the organisation to make informed, timely, and impactful decisions, achieved through a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and stakeholder engagement.This is a Permanent Full-Time position ideally based out of our offices in Cremorne, Vic offices, offering a hybrid working setup with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.Role ResponsibilitiesPerform statistical modelling, segmentation, and trend analysis.Develop and interpret data models (e.g., star schemas, entity-relationship diagrams).Data Integration and automation of reporting.Design and deliver executive dashboards and visual reports.Collaborate with finance, operations, and executive leadership to support strategic initiatives and translate business requirements into technical solutions.Conduct data quality assessments and ensure reliability of insights.Maintain governance over data sources and reporting standards.Leverage BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and CRM platforms.Train and support business users in self-service analytics.About YouTo be successful in your application you will have qualifications in Data Science, Information systems or similar, accompanied with:Experience working in BI or a data analyst ideally within a large multi-faceted organisationStrong working knowledge in Power BI, SQL and Data governance / warehousingHands on experience with integrating large data sets and automationExperience with Azure or Cloud platformsStrong stakeholder engagement skillsExcellent reporting and presentation skillsDiversityVentia is enriched by the diverse experiences, talents and cultures that our people bring to the organisation, while celebrating and respecting the communities we operate in.
