VPBank is looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to join our Retail Banking Division as a Business Intelligence Expert.In this role, you’ll be at the heart of strategic planning and performance optimization, leveraging data to drive business growth and operational excellence. You’ll lead a talented team, collaborate across departments, and deliver insights that shape the future of retail banking.Role Overview:This position plays a key role in supporting the Department Head in planning, implementing, and monitoring database management activities, periodic reporting, and analysis within the assigned scope. The goal is to proactively support decision-making at various management levels and promote data-driven decision-making.What You’ll Do:Support the Department Head in developing KPIs and performance measurement tools for all staff levels: permanent employees, new hires, collaborators, and interns.Assist in workforce planning and recruitment for levels 6 and 7, ensuring alignment with job requirements.Execute advanced analytics projects using various data analysis tools to support business operations and decision-making.Continuously build and optimize periodic reporting systems and performance tracking tools (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly), as well as ad-hoc reports based on business performance across units, product lines, and customer segments.Oversee and advise on daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports related to business performance across sales units, product lines, customer segments, and operations units.Responsible for preparing key reports for senior leadership in the Retail Banking Division and related departments, including actionable recommendations to support decision-making.Provide performance analysis of product programs, sales campaigns, marketing initiatives, customer portfolio and behavior, and operational efficiency.Monitor and evaluate the department’s reporting and analysis quality.Lead initiatives to review and improve reporting processes, aiming to reduce support time and enhance support quality.Automate periodic reports to improve productivity.Plan professional development for the team to ensure alignment with departmental and center-wide goals.Participate in bank-wide and Retail Banking Division projects by providing data, reports, and consultation on reporting aspects.Manage a team of 5–7 members, including task assignment, training, and performance accountability to the Department Head.Sucessfull profile:We’re looking for a candidate who embodies the following qualifications and qualities:Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, Banking, Accounting, Finance, IT, or related fields.Minimum 5–7 years of experience in reporting system management and analysis in retail banking.Management experience is a plus.Knowledge of retail banking products and services.Understanding of sales roles and business models in retail banking.Proficient in data management tools (SQL, Oracle, etc.).Skilled in advanced analytics tools (Python, R).Proficient in BI tools (Superset, Power BI, Quicksight, etc.).Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) is an advantage.Creative problem-solving skills.Strong leadership and team management capabilities.Ability to work independently and in teams.Strong analytical, time management, and logical thinking skills.Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and growth mindset.Professional, confident, proactive, and able to handle pressure/conflict.What we offer:Attractive income, competitive salary and bonus according to ability (16-18 month package)Bonus on Holidays and New Year (according to banking policy from time to time)Get preferential loans according to the bank's policy from time to timeAttractive leave mode according to job rank (16 paid leaves/year)Compulsory insurance according to labor law & VPBank care insurance for employees depending on rank and working timeParticipate in training courses depending on the Training Framework for each positionWorking time: Monday - Friday & Saturday morning (two Saturday mornings off/month)Dynamic, friendly working environment with many opportunities for training, learning and development; participate in many interesting cultural activities (sports event, talents, teambuilding activities...)
