Would you like to work across the full BI stack – designing, developing, and maintaining both back-end and front-end solutions?Working at Struers, you will join a global leader in equipment, consumables, and services for materialographic surface preparation and analysis – driven by innovation, quality, and a commitment to empowering customers in both research and production.Join our dedicated Business Intelligence teamIn our Global IT department, consisting of approx. 20 colleagues, you will find our small, but highly dedicated BI team which will consist of three people including you. In the team, we work on a combination of data integration projects of varying scales, daily operations, and on supporting the business with data models, reports, and other relevant services.We are also exploring and implementing AI-driven solutions to enhance analytics, automation, and decision-making across the organization.Gain a varied workday that will never get dullIn this role, you will work across the full BI stack – designing, developing, and maintaining both back-end and front-end solutions. We work with GitHub for source control and DevOps as a discipline. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization to transform data into actionable insights that support strategic and operational decisions. We follow the ITIL framework for daily operations.Our BI platform runs on an on-premise SQL solution, but we are planning a migration to Microsoft Fabric within the next few years. You will play a key role in the transition and future setup, ensuring a smooth and future-ready BI environment.More specifically, your main tasks will include:Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions, including data models, dashboards, and reports.Manage and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes for accurate and timely data delivery.Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Ensure data quality and integrity across BI systems and help document best practices.Support the continuous improvement of BI platform and processes.Explore and implement AI-driven solutions to improve analytics and automation.Passion to build high quality solutionsWe are looking for a colleague who wants to be an active part of our small team, and who is always eager to learn and share. We hope you are ready to join an energetic BI team and be part of a collaborative, informal culture where your voice matters.Finally, we imagine that you have:3–5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or related fields.Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with both back-end (data modeling, ETL) and front-end (dashboards, visualization) BI development.Relevant educational background in Data Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or similar.Experience with Microsoft BI.Work or case experience from a production or manufacturing industry environment.Knowledge of Cloud Data Warehousing/BI (e.g., Azure, Microsoft Fabric).Experience with Master Data Management and MS BI tool stacks (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS).Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for advanced analytics and AI.A proactive, detail-oriented approach and can work independently as well as in a team.
