Job DescriptionBusiness OverviewRakuten Mobile officially launched its full-scale service in April 2020 as the fourth MNO (Mobile Network Operator) approved in Japan in 13 years, with the aim of providing high-quality mobile communication services at reasonable prices. Rakuten Mobile is a core business undertaking large-scale investments to drive the future growth of the Rakuten Group, and it is attracting significant attention both domestically and internationally.Department OverviewThis organization is the department responsible for providing mobile services to corporate clients. Within this department, you will be responsible for building new service operation flows, improving existing operations, and managing the vendors who execute those operations. You will participate in the business as a core member for future business expansion, aiming to achieve the No. 1 carrier status.The Order Management Team comprehensively supports the flow after a contract is concluded with a customer. This includes vendor management for registering Rakuten Mobile's corporate line contracts in the system, addressing any deficiencies that occur during registration, and coordinating with delivery companies when SIM cards and devices are shipped after system registration.In actual operations, the team can also be involved in business improvements by gathering feedback from vendors regarding system and operational improvements, coordinating system improvement requests with the system planning team, and bringing those improvements to fruition.PositionWhy We HireAs the number of contracted lines for Rakuten Mobile increases, acquiring corporate line contracts, which are the core of Rakuten Mobile's business, has become increasingly important.In particular, with the aim of increasing the number of Rakuten Mobile line contracts through sales channels, we are seeking to strengthen our vendor structure to better support and respond to the sales department, and we are looking for new ideas that are not bound by conventional methods.Position DetailsThe Order Management Team manages multiple vendors and implements operational and system improvements based on feedback from the field, handling the entire flow from when the sales team acquires a line contract through negotiations with a customer to when the contract is delivered to the customer.The specific tasks of the vendors we commission include the following three points:Registering line contract information and application details in the system.Changing system information for existing customers (cancellations, information changes, direct debit, etc.).Changing application details (plan changes, adding/removing options).The Order Management Team works in cooperation with various departments, including the sales department that acquires line contracts, the outsourced vendors who handle the actual operations, delivery companies, business management that handles sales and order/invoice management, and engineers who build and operate the systems used.Basically, you will be required to come to the office and communicate face-to-face, but telecommuting is possible up to once a week. Flextime is also available, allowing you to work in a way that suits your lifestyle. Our outsourced vendors have bases in Ehime and Fukuoka, and communication with them is primarily via Teams and Zoom. However, there will be opportunities to visit the outsourced vendors about once a year to directly check on the work situation and gather their opinions.Work EnvironmentThis team is primarily composed of young members in their 20s and 30s, including those who joined through mid-career recruitment and contract workers. It's a flat organization with a friendly atmosphere where communication is easy.While this department has traditionally had a high number of new graduate hires, it also includes members with diverse backgrounds, such as those who joined through mid-career recruitment and those working as contractors.Mandatory QualificationsExperience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Excel: Experience in aggregating and analyzing data on deficiencies, and managing KPIsPowerPoint: Experience in creating meeting materials, proposal materials, etc.Professional experience using Japanese (native level).Residency in Japan.Desired Qualifications Project Management Skills In order management operations, it is important to have skills to manage projects smoothly because the work proceeds in cooperation with multiple vendors and departments. In particular, experience in progress management and coordination work can be utilized.Desired Skills: Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders, experience using project management tools Communication Skills High communication skills are essential because it is necessary to coordinate with various departments such as customers, sales departments, outsourced vendors, and engineers. In particular, since there are many remote interactions, smooth online communication skills are also required.Desired Skills: English proficiency (if the outsourced vendor is located overseas), experience using remote conferencing tools (Teams, Zoom, etc.) System Understanding and Improvement Skills Order management operations involve many system-related tasks, including registering and changing line contract information, so knowledge of how to use systems and improve operations is required. In addition, since operational improvements are also included, the ability to solve system-related problems is also important.Desired Skills: System development or operation experience, experience in system improvement projects Data Analysis and Management Skills Skills in data analysis and report creation are also required because there are tasks such as order/invoice management and sales management. In particular, the ability to analyze the progress of outsourced vendors and teams and propose improvement measures is required.Desired Skills: Data analysis using Excel or Google Sheets, experience in sales management or billing management Experience in Business Improvement Since system and operational improvements are required, experience in proposing and implementing business improvements that reflect the voices of the field will be a strength.
