As a key member of the Business Operations team, you'll manage critical regulatory and operational data and reporting processes that keep our business running smoothly, profitably, and in compliance with regulations. Through this work, you'll develop expertise in the retail energy market, regulatory requirements, and business operations while building valuable analytical and project management skills.This role reports to the division GM and operates within a matrixed team structure, collaborating with teams throughout the division.Areas of ResponsibilityBusiness Reporting & Data Management (35%)Support the analysis of key performance metrics, by cohorts, including sales growth, customer acquisition costs, churn rates, and profitabilityMaintain and update key business data in Tableau and other reporting systemsPrepare recurring reports for internal stakeholdersParticipate in the preparation of materials for monthly and quarterly business reviewsCollaborate with the BI team on report maintenance and improvementsBusiness Analysis & Special Projects (35%)Conduct ad-hoc analyses to investigate business questions and opportunitiesSupport data gathering and analysis for strategic initiativesAssist with special projects as neededRegulatory Reporting & Compliance (30%)Support the monitoring and reporting of regulatory requirements, tariffs, and contracts in current and future marketsPrepare and submit recurring regulatory reports across multiple marketsSupport regulatory processes, including license and contract renewalsMaintain compliance tracking documentation and systemsAbout YouBachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or related fieldStrong Excel skills required; experience with Tableau or Power BI is a plusDetail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple recurring deadlinesAnalytical and business-focused mindset and ability to learn new systems quicklyUsed to working in an agile environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong understanding of financial concepts and profitability metrics is highly desirableFluent in EnglishWorking Hours & LocationOur office is located in the El Poblado area of Medellín.The working hours for this role are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm CDT and are to remain in sync with the company’s Austin HQ (Central Time) throughout the year.BenefitsContract Type: Permanent (indefinite-term contract)Weekly English classes (2 hours) to boost your professional skillsProfessional growth opportunities in a fast-growing, impact-driven companyCompany-paid parkingDiscount with Action Black gymSnacks and beverages provided by the companyResumes and responses must be submitted in English.
