You will work directly with the COO and CEO on projects that shape how we grow, sell, and communicate our story.This is not a narrow finance or ops role. You will connect dots across business development, investor relations, and internal operations to help the company scale smoothly. One week you might refine pricing models and investor materials. The next, you could sit in on customer or partner calls, translate insights into action items, and help align engineering, operations, and sales.ResponsibilitiesDevelop clear, data-backed materials for leadership, investors, and customersBuild and refine models for pricing, margin, and working capital planningSupport board and investor presentations, fundraising preparation, and due diligence requestsHelp structure and coordinate the commercial process from initial call through deliverySit in on key customer, integrator, and partner calls to capture actions and improve follow-upSupport creation of sales decks, quotes, and proposals that reflect Proper Voltage’s technical and financial valueTrack and visualize sales pipeline data to surface trends, blockers, and opportunitiesCollaborate with engineering and operations to improve handoffs from prototype to productionImprove reporting and communication tools so leadership has clear visibility into company performanceIdentify new market or partnership opportunities through targeted research on sectors such as defense, robotics, and data centersTranslate complex technical or financial topics into simple, high-impact narratives for external audiencesRecognize issues early, take initiative, and drive projects to completionWork closely with executives and engineers to move fast and maintain precisionDeliver work that is accurate, organized, and presentation-ready under tight timelinesWhat You Bring3 to 6 years of experience in a high-intensity environment such as a startup, consulting firm, or investment bankStrong analytical and communication skills. You can model in Excel, write clearly, and create professional presentationsExperience with or interest in sales operations, customer engagement, or investor coordinationComfort working directly with senior leaders and external partnersCuriosity about energy, batteries, and the technologies that power modern systemsA proactive mindset and the ability to bring order to unstructured situationsHigh integrity and discretion when handling sensitive informationAbility to work full time in our Carlsbad, CA officeThis role sits at the intersection of operations, finance, and growth. You will help translate ideas into execution, bridge technical and commercial conversations, and build the systems that allow Proper Voltage to scale.
