You'll bring structure, financial acumen, and a hands-on approach to scaling how we operate. This role sits at the heart of that — ensuring our business runs smoothly, risks are managed proactively, and decisions are grounded in clarity and data.Your mission: build the operational foundation, keep us financially sharp and ready to scale.What You'll DoPartner with the CEO and key stakeholdersWork side by side with the CEO to translate company priorities into operational plansPartner with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to ensure revenue contracts, invoicing, and renewals are accurate and timelyUse financial and operational data to keep the business aligned and decision-readyIdentify gaps, risks, and opportunities — and build scalable processes to close themDrive company planning rhythms (OKRs, KPIs, weekly reviews) and ensure accountability across teamsOwn and optimise financial operationsLead day-to-day finance operations: customer invoicing, vendor payments, payroll coordination, and budget trackingMaintain revenue accuracy — ensuring customer billing, contract terms, and cashflow remain up to dateWork with external accountants on filings, reconciliations, and monthly management accountsProvide financial insight to guide investment decisions, cost control, and commercial performancePartner with the CEO on forecasting, reporting, and maintaining visibility on company performance across the UK and USOversee governance, legal, and complianceCoordinate UK and US corporate filings (Companies House, HMRC, Delaware/SOS)Manage our EMI scheme and filings with external advisorsWork with legal counsel on NDAs, MSAs, DPAs, and vendor contractsServe as Data Protection Lead, ensuring GDPR and privacy compliance across jurisdictionsDrive operational excellenceAct as the operational connector between Finance, Product, and Commercial teamsSupport board and investor reporting with clear, data-driven insights that reflect financial and operational healthOwn and improve the company's core tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Linear, Zoom)Streamline, automate, and rationalise how we work to increase efficiency and reduce costOversee workspace logistics, hybrid operations, and equipment lifecycleRequirementsExperience & technical skillsProven experience (typically 5+ years) in finance or business operations within scaling organisations — ideally in tech, SaaS, or other high-growth environmentsMinimum AAT Level 4 qualification (or equivalent experience); ACCA/CIMA/ACA desirable for progression into broader ownershipStrong understanding of financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and systems, with a sharp eye for accuracy and scalabilityExperience managing revenue contracts, customer invoicing, and billing accuracy, ensuring cashflow and reporting stay alignedConfident working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and leadership teams, translating financial insight into business decisionsExperience with Xero, AirWallex, Revolut, ApprovalMax and Google Suite would be highly beneficialHow You WorkYou'll think commercially — connecting the numbers to what really drives the business and helping others do the sameYou'll bring structure and calm to fast-moving environments, keeping things organised and on track without overcomplicatingYou'll communicate clearly and build trust, making it easy for teams to work with you and stay alignedYou'll get hands-on with problems, improving how things run day to day and finding smarter ways to workYou'll stay steady under pressure, focusing on solutions and keeping momentum even when priorities shiftBenefitsOpen salary structure - This role offers a competitive salary of up to £80,000 per yearCelebrate our victories together - We're on an ambitious path and when we succeed, it's a collective win.
