Business Process Analyst

Our client, the 4th largest school system in Georgia, is actively looking for a Business Process Analyst to join their team in Atlanta, GA! This role is fully onsite with some potential for hybrid flexibility here and there so local candidates are required. ***This is a 12 month initial contract with the opportunity for extension based on performance***ResponsibilitiesGather requirements by interviewing business stakeholdersDevelop relationships with business partnersCreate effective collaboration among stakeholdersConduct business process analysisBreak down high-level information into details and low-level information into digestible information for general users. Collaborate with business partners to develop/document business scenarios.

Generate business process flows and functional/non-functional requirements.

Organize and facilitate requirements sessionsWork cross-functionally to determine business process relationshipsManaging and tracking project tasksPropose data-driven solutions to maximize production and efficiencyDocument business analysis findingsSet efficient processes for creating and managing business analysis/project artifactsRequired Skills & Experience8+ years of experience as a Business AnalystExperience working within a PMO framework is preferredMust have heavy business process experienceOrganizational and facilitation skills – must be able to set expectations, manage agendas, garner audience participation, and resolve conflictsCritical thinking skills – evaluate information gathered from different sourcesAnalytical skills – ability to translate business needs and into requirements, workflows, etc.

Experience with enterprise level implementationsTechnical skills - proficiency in MS Office Suite, MS Project, MS Visio, etc. Experience with K-12 and/or Student Information Systems is a plus
