Business & Quality Analyst - Insurance SystemsWe are seeking a Business Analyst / Quality Analyst in the Tampa, FL area with hands-on experience in property & casualty (P&C) insurance to support a core systems implementation for a leading residential and commercial insurance carrier. This role will begin as a blended BA/QA position—helping define, document, and validate business requirements—and will gradually transition into a full Quality Assurance focus as the implementation progresses.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance operations, including policy administration, billing, claims, and underwriting workflows, and experience working with enterprise software platforms.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements, process flows, and acceptance criteria.Translate business needs into testable functional requirements and support the creation of user stories and test cases.Perform functional, integration, and regression testing during each phase of implementation.Partner with development and product teams to ensure traceability from requirements through delivery.Participate in system configuration reviews, data validation, and defect triage sessions.Provide feedback to improve testing processes and documentation standards.Qualifications:3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or QA Analyst in the insurance industry (P&C preferred).Experience supporting core system transformations or software implementations.Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.Familiarity with testing tools (e.g., Jira, Zephyr, Azure DevOps, TestRail) and agile delivery methods.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams in a fast-paced project environment.Perks & Benefits:Top-Tier Insurance: Enjoy one of the best insurance packages in the industry, with $0 cost for medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, and life insurance.Competitive Salary: Receive competitive salary compensation.Retirement Savings: Take advantage of our retirement savings plan with employer
