Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role located in San Juan for an Information Technology Support Specialist. The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting IT issues, managing desktop computers, and offering help desk support. Day-to-day tasks include responding to and resolving user queries, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. ResponsabilitiesProvide support for PCs, peripherals, LAN infrastructure, and basic server operations. Administer end-user workstations and support activities utilizing TCP/IP on a Microsoft Windows-based local area network (LAN). Troubleshoot and configure computer systems, including Windows 7/11 and network-based software applications.
Upgrade and maintain computer hardware, including monitors, RAM, HDDs, and other components. Install, upgrade, and manage desktop systems, security updates, and patches. Perform disk imaging (cloning) for system deployment and recovery. Maintain procedural documentation and track hardware repairs and issues. RequirementsDegree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferredStrong communication skills and customer service orientation. Proactive, responsible, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. In-depth knowledge of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques. IT certifications (e. g. , CompTIA A+, Microsoft) are a plus.
