Further information is available at www.nfi.partsPosition SummaryThe Business Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting the continuous improvement of systems, reporting and business processes at NFI Parts. This role works directly with business users and IT to manage the entire software development lifecycle for system enhancements. This includes gathering business requirements, creating specification documentation, designing solutions, creating test plans, conducting testing, training users, implementing the solution, and supporting the resolution of post implementation issues.WHAT YOU WILL DO:Works with business area representatives to assess potential new business improvement opportunitiesDevelops and implements systems solutions for business area needsDevelops expertise in potential business solutions / tools for assigned functional areasDevelops and executes detailed test plans for system enhancementsParticipates as core team member on business systems projectsLeads and manages system enhancement related projectsCollaborates with central IT team to translate business requirements into technical systems requirementsSupports the creation of user training documentation for system enhancementsConducts user training to business users on system enhancementsSupports day to day end user requests related to core business systemsTroubleshoots system related issues and coordinates with IT to resolveDevelops and maintains report requests through Power BI and SQLSupports any testing required for system outages, upgrades, or deploymentsMaintains repository of all system configuration and customization documentationRequirementsWHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:Post- secondary schooling in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related fieldExperience with Oracle ERP and data management toolsExperience with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and Power BIStrong knowledge of MS Office SuiteStrong understanding of business process modeling and workflow analysisProficient in project management methodologies and system development lifecyclesAnalytical mindset with the ability to initiate creative solutions based on quantitative and qualitative dataEffective communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical information to non-technical stakeholdersDetail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentAvailability to work off hours and weekendsTravel is required for this position*BenefitsWHY JOIN OUR TEAM:Competitive Wages.
