Business Systems Analyst

Position: Business Systems AnalystLocation: Toronto – HybridKey Responsibilities:Analyze and document business requirements for card issuance and customer onboarding.Ensure compliance with KYC, AML (Anti-Money Laundering), and regulatory standards.Collaborate with product and compliance teams to enhance onboarding workflows and risk assessment processes.Serve as a subject matter expert in payment rail operations (ACH, SWIFT, FedWire, RTP).Define and document business processes for payment account management, compliance, collections, and reconciliation.Support the design and implementation of payment APIs, file formats, and integration with payment gateways or processors.Lead analysis for dispute management, chargebacks, fraud detection, and customer escalations.Partner with fraud operations and compliance teams to ensure dispute handling meets regulatory and network requirements.Document end-to-end workflows and identify automation opportunities to improve resolution timelines.Define requirements and workflows for card activation, credit line adjustments, and customer contact updates.Partner with CRM and customer service teams to improve customer experience across touchpoints.Analyze and document processes for cash advances, refunds, fees, financial reporting, and settlements.Support finance and treasury functions with cash flow management, reconciliation, and settlement optimization.Qualifications:Experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Product Analyst in the banking, payments, or fintech domain.Strong understanding of card lifecycle management, payment networks, and regulatory compliance.Experience in data analysis, system mapping, and workflow documentation.Familiarity with core banking systems, payment processors, and financial reconciliation tools.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.RegardsPatrick FernandezTalent Acquisition Group - Strategic Recruitment Manager
