Developer – Data Privacy & Compliance Tools SupportExperience:8+ yearsJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Developer to manage the ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and support of various data privacy and compliance workstreams and their respective tools. The role involves ensuring operational stability, resolving incidents, and collaborating with internal teams and service providers to support enterprise data privacy initiatives and tools.Key Responsibilities: Perform ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and support of the following privacy and compliance tools/workstreams: Structured Data Discovery – BigID Unstructured Data Discovery – Varonis Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) – BigID Cookies Management – Usercentrics Breach Response Management – SharePoint (O365) KPI Dashboards – Power BI (data ingestion via Azure environment) Data Subject Access Rights (DSAR) – BigID Privacy Portal – BigID Provide Level 2/3 technical support for incidents or issues raised through the Service Management Tool or by other service providers. Collaborate and coordinate with other service providers offering Level 1 support to ensure timely incident resolution. Respond to and resolve incidents identified internally or reported externally, ensuring root cause analysis and fix implementation. Maintain comprehensive and accurate incident logs using the designated incident management system. Support the internal Data Privacy Centre hosted on E-Link (SharePoint O365) as well as the external Data Privacy Centre when required. Ensure all privacy tools are running efficiently, with timely updates, patches, and configuration management. Monitor system health, performance, and data flows within Azure and Power BI environments. Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to maintain compliance with data privacy and protection standards. Participate in continuous improvement activities to optimize data discovery, reporting, and privacy operations.Required Skills & Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in IT application support, development, or system administration. Hands-on experience with one or more of the following tools: BigID, Varonis, Power BI, Azure, SharePoint (O365), Usercentrics. Strong understanding of data privacy principles, compliance frameworks, and data governance processes. Proficiency in Power BI dashboarding and data ingestion workflows using Azure services. Solid troubleshooting and incident management skills with experience using Service Management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira). Strong collaboration skills to work with multiple service providers and cross-functional teams. Excellent documentation, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with O365 environments and SharePoint administration.Preferred Skills: Experience in Data Privacy, Information Security, or Compliance domains. Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, or other global privacy regulations. Basic scripting or automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for maintenance and monitoring tasks. Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and integration of SaaS tools.
