Company DescriptionThermic Sol, one of Greece’s leading manufacturers in the solar thermal industry, is seeking a Buyer / Procurement Officer to join our team in Magoula.If you enjoy keeping production in motion, ensuring every material arrives on time, and always finding the best balance between cost and quality then this role is for you.Role DescriptionThe ideal candidate will ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, maintain strong supplier relationships, and support the production process by securing all necessary components efficiently and accurately.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily purchasing activities and ensure timely supply of materials and components.Communicate with domestic and international suppliers regarding pricing, delivery schedules, and terms.Maintain and update the ERP system to support smooth procurement workflows.Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers while monitoring existing supplier performance.Collaborate closely with production, warehouse, and quality departments to ensure accurate deliveries and uninterrupted operations.Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure optimal cost and quality.Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.Qualifications3–5 years of experience in Purchasing or Procurement, ideally within a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel.Excellent command of the English language (written & spoken).Proven negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and reliability.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Business, or related field.Experience with imports, logistics, or customs procedures is considered an asset.The Company OffersCompetitive remuneration package.Dynamic and well-structured industrial working environment.Opportunities for professional development within Procurement and Supply Chain.Private health insurance.All Cvs will be treated confidentially.After the screening of the CVs, we will contact the candidates who meet the profile’s requirements to arrange an interview.
