If that resonates with you, we believe you’ll thrive here.💼 The RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in Far East sourcing, supplier negotiation, and product development — ideally with Mandarin language skills and a passion for product presentation. We offer a hybrid working model, with 4 days based in the Uxbridge office and 1 day working from home each week — blending flexibility with team collaboration.You will be responsible for sourcing and procuring products, negotiating contracts with suppliers, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Additional tasks include analysing market trends, maintaining inventory levels, overseeing purchase orders, and working closely with the logistics team to optimise the supply chain process. You will also ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement strategies.📋 Key ResponsibilitiesRetail Account Expansion: Identify and close deals with major UK retailers, wholesalers, and independent chains, pushing our products into new and existing markets.Strategic Business Development: Build, develop, and execute high-value sales strategies to maximise market penetration across multiple product categories.End-to-End Account Management: Own the relationship from the first pitch to long-term partnerships, working closely with buyers, logistics, and operations to ensure seamless execution.Sales & Revenue Growth: Drive volume sales through strong negotiation, category expertise, and solution-based selling.Market Leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends, analysing data to identify new opportunities and provide customers with insights that drive sales.Product Expertise: Work across 12+ categories, advising retailers on top-performing lines, trend-driven product selection, and category growth opportunities.Trade Show Representation: Represent Keplin at Spring Fair, Autumn Fair, and major B2B retail events, pitching to buyers and forging strong relationships.💡 What we’re looking for:2+ years’ experience in general merchandise buying (not fashion)Proven track record sourcing & negotiating with Far East suppliersCommercially sharp + trend-aware mindsetConfident analysing data & making smart decisionsOrganised, proactive, and excited to make an impact📈 Why join us as a Buyer?At Keplin, buying isn’t just about transactions — it’s about shaping our future.
