For our client, BKW , a leading energy company, we are looking for an experienced and skilled Strategic Buyer (m/f/d) to temporarily strengthen the team in the area of energy infrastructure procurement.General information: Start date: 01.12.2025End date: 30.06.2025Work location: Bern Employment level: 80-100%, including at least 3 days per week on-site. Remote work share: 40% Your tasksStrategic procurement of complex technical components and systems for energy projects.Conducting negotiations, drafting contracts and managing suppliers in the relevant product groups.Ensuring compliance with quality, cost and deadline targets in the purchasing process.Analysis of procurement markets and development of future-oriented purchasing strategies.Your profile – Must-havesAt least 6-7 years of professional experience in purchasing technical equipment.Specific experience (3-5 years each) in purchasing the following product groups:SwitchgearTransformers (transformers)inverterBattery systemsLanguage skills: German ( business fluent ); English (spoken and written).Your profile – Nice-to-havesExperience as a strategic buyer of at least 5 years (ideally 6-7 years).Sound knowledge of public procurement law (BöB/VöB) , acquired over >5 years.Proven, multi-year experience (>5 years) in purchasing technical product groups (ideally in the aforementioned areas).
