About the Role We’re seeking an experienced Buyer to take ownership of a high-volume, fast-moving category with a strong seasonal and promotional focus. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping product strategy — from range planning through to pricing, promotions, and supplier negotiations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys combining data-driven decision-making with creativity — building ranges that excite customers and deliver commercial results. You’ll work closely with planning, marketing, and e-commerce teams to deliver engaging product stories that align with key retail events and seasonal moments throughout the year. Key responsibilities include:End-to-end ownership of the buying process, including range development, and promotional planning.Analysing performance and market trends to inform buying decisions and maximise sales and profitability.Partnering cross-functionally to bring product stories to life through marketing and online execution.Driving continual improvement in category performance and customer engagement.Skills & Experience Required We’re looking for a commercially minded Buyer who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment. You’ll be confident in managing multiple product cycles at once and experienced in planning for key retail events and promotional periods. Your background will ideally include exposure to gifting, homewares, toys or seasonal product categories, where trend forecasting, strong supplier relationships, and timing are critical to success. You’re analytical yet creative, with a sharp eye for product opportunities and a natural ability to balance commercial outcomes with customer appeal. Strong negotiation skills, supplier management experience, and the ability to interpret data to drive strategy are key. Just as importantly, you’ll bring energy, curiosity, and a collaborative approach that fits a business focused on growth and innovation.
