Job IntroductionAs Buyers Admin you will provide administrative support to the Buying teams.You will create sku’s, load orders onto the system, manage the administrative side of category launches, deal with and resolve buyers queries and liase closely with suppliers and the shopfloorAs Buyers Admin You WillBe the first point of contact with suppliers and the warehouse for booking in deliveries, making changes to delivery schedules and order amendments· Upload the buyers worksheet and create skus in Retek, highlighting areas where Buyers worksheet is incomplete and work with Buyer to improveLoad orders onto the system correctly as soon as possible after they are receivedSet up and monitor the delivery schedule, checking delivery windows and schedules and highlight problems to Buying teamCheck order confirmation with suppliers, chasing and checking confirmation notes Resolve DC queries – for example mismatched delivery note (aim to avoid stock sitting in the DC)Update and maintain database with relevant terms e.g. trade/settlement discountsSet up accounts for new suppliersEnsure requests for pre-ticketing are communicated to suppliers Update and amend the sku and category hierarchies, barcodes and all supporting sku information Oversee the process for providing samples to the photostudio for digital photo shootsLiaise with suppliers to booking shop floor customer sampling and retail operations training Circulate daily reports to concessions and internal teams How You’ll Do It…you Will BeOrganised and proactive.
