BWS are looking for a CONTRACTS SPECIALIST to support the Transport and Installation (T&I) contracting activities related to Wind Turbine Generators (WTG) for German Offshore Wind projects: N-12. 1, N-11. 2, N-9. 4, and O-2. 2. The service holder will lead all aspects of the procurement lifecycle and contract management, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure successful project execution. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the pre and post contract management activities for the Transport and Installation packages focusing on WTG T&ILead any procurement requirements for the WTG T&I package including bid assessments, conducting the commercial assessment and supplier appraisalEnsure timely and close co-operation and communication with the package manager, legal, finance, planning and insurance departmentsResponsible for following project procurement and contract management procedures and good practiceContract manage the package contracts including payment obligations, monitoring supplier and employer contract obligationsManage claims and variations with support from legal and package managementCo-ordinate with finance team and insurance to ensure communication and complianceAssume accountability for contracts and commercial activity for the related T&I activities for the N-12.
1, N-11. 2, N-9. 4 and O-2. 2 projectsClosely collaborate and co-operate with the relevant project stakeholders to lead and manage contract management activitiesSet out contracts that are fully compliant to support the business needs of the project and mitigate commercial risks to the project and drive appropriate supplier performance through effective key performance indicators. Determine when ultimate contract terms have been achieved and take responsibility for the sameEnsure that all defined business processes, contract management procedures and good practice are implemented and adhered to in the projectIn addition:
Support to the project team in obtaining internal and partnership approvals;Identify and allow for future contractual interfaces based on possible contractual strategies and potential additional lease areasConfidentiality Agreements with various Parties (Contractors and Service Companies)Perform and/or verify Due Diligence activities on main suppliers for WTG T&I package (Market intelligence, compliance review, commercial benchmark, supplier risk review)Liaison with Project C&P LeadOther Project support contracts as neededTools: Use systematically the tools and systems available (E-sourcing, ERP, AGORA etc) for the C&P process;Ensure use of current ERP "MBC" (link with Finance department, Technical Entities. . .
);Participate or ensure Vendor Master Creation and Purchase Orders in ERP "MBC";Pre-Qualification of main suppliers in relation with TGPEnsure all tools are properly managed and administered;Participate in C&P trainings for end usersTechnical requirements: Minimum of 5 years of expertise in T&I contracting rolesExpertise in Contracts & Procurement, Business, Accounting or other field with suitable experience in contracts administrationPrevious expertise in procurement process including: market competitive analysis, international tenders, standards, regulations and proceduresThe service holder shall have expertise for Procurement software:
Ariba, ERP (MBC), Microsoft Office (Excel & Power point specifically)Ability to work closely with various stakeholders including but not limited to diverse international teams, vendors & subcontractors, affiliates, HQ, etcOrganisational skillsOther observations: The service requires fluency in English. French and German language is a benefit. Travel require between Paris, France and Hamburg / Berlin, Germany.
