Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Safety Management1Conduct daily site inspections to identify unsafe conditions (electrical, fire, chemical, trip/slip/fall hazards).2Monitor and enforce use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in compliance with NFPA 70E and OSHA standards.3、Check and maintain site grounding systems for electrical safety.4Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) plans, Emergency Response Plans (ERP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Hazard Identification & Mitigation1、Perform hazard recognition and hazard hunts on a daily and monthly basis.2、Document and recommend corrective actions to eliminate unsafe conditions.3、Verify fire detection, gas detection, and explosion-prevention systems are operational.Safety Documentation & Reporting1、Prepare and maintain daily safety inspection reports.2、Draft and update safety procedures for operations, maintenance, and emergency response.3、Document and file Safety Meeting Minutes (daily toolbox talks & monthly safety meetings).4、Maintain records of PPE distribution, inspections, and compliance checks.Incident Management1、Lead incident reporting and investigations, including root cause analysis.2、Prepare corrective and preventive action (CAPA) reports.3、Report all incidents in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Emergency Preparedness1、Conduct emergency drills (fire, chemical exposure, electrocution scenarios).2Support emergency shutdown procedures and coordinate with Grid Control Center during critical events.3、Act as liaison with local emergency responders and regulatory authorities.Training & Culture1、Provide safety induction training for all new site personnel.2、Deliver refresher courses on electrical safety, fire prevention, and hazard awareness.3、Promote a proactive safety culture across all departments.Required Qualifications1、 Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.2、Minimum 2 years of safety experience in energy , power plant, or industrial projects.3、Experience with Saudi Electric Company (SEC) projects is considered a plus.Required Certifications1、NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or equivalent.2、OSHA 30-Hour General Industry or Construction Safety Certification.3、NFPA 70E Training (Electrical Safety in the Workplace).4、First Aid & CPR Certification.5、Fire Safety / HAZMAT Response Training preferred.
