We have a vacancy for an EXPERIENCED CABINETMAKER or HAND BENCH JOINER to join our team, working for a successful family run business based in Skipton. We are proud to be one of Yorkshire’s leading fine furniture manufacturers and celebrate 27 years in business this year.This is an exciting opportunity, based at our spacious and well-equipped workshop in Skipton, just a 5-minute walk from Skipton train station and 10-minute walk to the town centre. You will be an experienced maker of fine furniture with exceptionally high standards and enjoy the responsibility of completing projects from start to finish and achieving a result that satisfies the high quality that our customers demand.You will join an experienced and helpful team, where you will:Be responsible for projects from start to finishWork on a variety of projects, creating fine furniture for any room in the houseWork in a spacious, well-equipped workshop with well-maintained and new machinesHave your own spacious bench and work area to complete projectsWork flexible hoursFull time or part-time (min 30 hours per week)Enjoy up to 43 days annual holidays *28 days including bank holidays, 10 days optional unpaid leave and a further 5 days holiday after 5 years’ serviceExcellent rates of payReceive a share of our profitsYou will have:Proven cabinetmaking skillsBe conscientious, patient, and hardworkingHave a passion for fine furnitureAn eye for detailThe ability to manage your own time and work to deadlines
