Our broad-based team of experts supports major energy suppliers and project developers worldwide on their path to transformation.YOUR IMPACTFor an artificial energy island project with offshore transmission infrastructure in the Belgian coast in the North Sea, we are looking for a Cable Supply Inspector to monitor, supervise and verify the safe compliant manufacturing and testing activities at the cable manufacturers factory.Your Range Of Tasks IncludesAct as the primary liaison between the client and the contractor during manufacturing and testing operationsMonitor and report on daily activities Verify that operations are conducted according to the clinets requirements, approved project procedures, test plans and risk assessmentsEnsure full compliance with applicable HSE guidelines and intervene when safety is compromisedReview and comment on contractor reporting, including daily progress reports, disposal logs, and as-built documentationWitness critical operationsEnsure proper documentation, including logbooks, photographic evidence and contractor deliverablesMaintain transparent communication with the client's project teamAssist with audits, inspections, and visits by authorities, certifiers or third partiesRequirements & Your ExpertiseMore than 3 years of Experience in subsea power cable manufacturing factories Experience as a client representative In depth knowledge of international standards (e.g. CIGRE, IEC etc)University degree in electrical engineering or as a technician Successful candidate must have eligibility to work in South Korea as a freelancer/contractorFluent in English and Korean
