In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise CAD models and technical drawings for hypersonic vehicle components and systems. You’ll collaborate with engineering, configuration management, and manufacturing teams to enable product and test equipment realisation throughout the development process, against aggressive schedules.Responsibilities IncludeDevelop 2D and 3D CAD models using Siemens NX and Teamcenter.Prepare and maintain technical documentation, BOMs, and assembly instructions.Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure models and drawings align with relevant requirements. Support identification and resolution of design issues arising during prototype, development and production phases. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in CAD workflows and design practices. Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering team to uphold modelling and drafting best practices. You will be part of a team delivering innovative solutions under tight deadlines, requiring a flexible mindset and a proactive approach to problem solving.To Be Successful In This Role You Will NeedCertificate or Diploma in Engineering Drafting or Technical Engineering.2–5 years’ experience in mechanical design and drafting.Proficient in CAD PLM packages within a regulated framework.Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.DesirableBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or working towards it).Experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter.Hands-on experience with fabrication, assembly, and prototyping.
