Job Description
About The RoleNeural Concept’s Vertical Solutions team turns the most common engineering use cases into streamlined, production-grade workflows empowered by leading AI technologies. As a CAD Engineer, you’ll build and validate parametric CAD models, macros, and scripting frameworks that encode design rules and best practices. You’ll operate in a cross-functional unit to move from manual modelling and one-off geometry preparation to robust, automated pipelines that scale across projects. You’ll assist in translating customer requirements into reference models, automation templates, CAD-to-CAE handoff routines, and standardised design libraries, then harden them into workflows that integrate seamlessly with our platform and with customer toolchains. What You Will DoContribute to designing and maintaining macros, add-ins, and scripts that run across our commercial CAD stack (CATIA, PTC Creo, SolidWorks, Inventor, NX).Build and refine parametric templates and simple knowledge rules for recurring design tasks.Perform CAD modelling: parts, basic surfacing, assemblies, and drawings using good parametric practices.Work with engineers to convert manual steps into reusable scripts.Prepare and adapt geometry for CAE, including basic CFD/FEM-ready practices (defeaturing, watertightness, part simplification, named selections).Collaborate with software developers on clean APIs, packaging, and simple deployment routines.Partner with ML engineers to expose parameters, metrics, and results for analysis and iteration.Who You AreYou have at least 3 years of professional experience in CAD design and modelling.Strong modelling and drafting experience with one major CAD software, hands-on experience with at least one additional commercial CAD (e.g., CATIA, Siemens NX, PTC Creo, Inventor, or SolidWorks).Coding experience: Python required; C#, VB/VBA, or C++ are also valuable.Solid grasp of parametric modelling, assemblies, drawings, tolerances, and basic DFM.Foundational understanding of CFD and FEM concepts and pre-processing needs.Clear communication, curiosity, and attention to detail.Problem-solving mindset, comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and open to feedback.Experience building any automation in commercial CAD (e.g., CATScript/VBA or CAA for CATIA, NX Open, Creo Toolkit/J-Link, SolidWorks API) is a strong plus.Exposure to meshing tools and CAE handoff (e.g., mid-surface extraction, defeaturing for CFD/FEM, basic mesh sizing strategies) is a strong plus.Familiarity with Git and modern IDE (e.g., Visual Studio) is a plus. You getWork with a world-class technology team – our engineers are top-notch, and we always aim for excellence.Benefit from a competitive salary and rewarding opportunities as we continue to scale.Thrive in a collaborative, multicultural environment where your work is visible and recognized.Develop professionally alongside talented colleagues who share knowledge freely and support one another.Make a global impact by helping customers shift to AI-assisted design, making innovation faster, smarter, and more sustainable.Balance life and work with a hybrid model (20% remote) and flexible hours—we care about results, not rigid schedules. We're proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we're committed to building a diverse and inclusive environment where you can thrive.
