Job Description
Opportunity for Calibration Technician based in Dublin. The successful candidate will work in a pharmaceutical environment, as part of a team of Instrument Calibration Technicians.The Calibration Technician is responsible for executing calibrations of all utilities instrumentation, and where applicable, process/laboratory instrumentation, in the field as per site schedules and procedures.Day to Day of the Role: • Execution of calibrations as per site schedule and site procedures, as directed by the Lead Calibration technician• Execution of scheduled and unscheduled work orders, where appropriate, as per site schedule and site procedures, as directed by the Lead Calibration technician• Troubleshoot problems with instrumentation as necessary and as directed by site supervisors• Complete site documentation before and after work tasks, as appropriate.• Liaise and Work with the Shift/day maintenance team on all instrumentation calibration issues• Liaise with Contractors during planned vendor calibrations.• Carry out Risk Assessment of instrumentation calibration steps and ensure these are always kept valid.• Enter calibration certs onto the site Computerised Calibration Management System• Execution of Calibration duties as defined by Supervisor.• Ability to work under own supervision on Client locations• Have flexible approach to duties as outlined by SupervisorRequired Skills for the Role:• At least 6 months technical experience (Essential)• National Craft Certificate (or equivalent) in appropriate mechanical or electrical discipline or Cert/diploma/degree (or equivalent) in appropriate mechanical or electrical discipline (Essential)• Excellent communication and documentation skills.• Building Management Systems (Scada)• Good understanding of Preventive Maintenance Systems.• Work within a Computerized Calibration Management System environment.• Understanding of SOP's and GMP Engineering systems.• Excellent Organisational and planning skills• Methodical & Analytical approach to work.• Good problem solving and trouble shooting ability.• Ability to fault find and trouble shoot Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Pneumatic SystemsIf interested please forward updated CV to aidan@synergyrecruitment.ie
