Job Description

Job Title: Construction Project ManagerLocation: Calgary, ABJob Type: Full-TimeCompany: Calibre ConstructionJob Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project budgets, timelines, teams, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. This is a leadership role that requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to handle complex tasks in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: • Project Planning & Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resources.

Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders to ensure all project aspects are clearly defined. • Budget & Cost Management: Monitor project costs and budgets, manage changes, and ensure efficient use of resources. Provide regular financial reports and recommend cost-saving measures as necessary. • Team Leadership: Lead and supervise project teams, including site workers, subcontractors, and vendors. Ensure a collaborative, safe, and efficient working environment. • Quality Control & Safety: Ensure all construction work meets the required quality standards and adheres to health and safety regulations. Conduct regular site inspections and implement corrective actions as needed. • Risk Management:

Identify and address potential risks to the project’s timeline, budget, and overall success. Develop contingency plans and take proactive measures to mitigate risks. • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders. Provide timely updates and manage client expectations. • Scheduling & Time Management: Ensure that projects are completed on time, meeting all milestones and deadlines. Manage any delays and proactively adjust schedules to keep projects on track. • Compliance: Ensure all permits, inspections, and other regulatory requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications: • Education:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is an asset. PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is a plus. • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction project management. • Skills & Competencies: o Strong leadership and team management skillso Excellent communication and interpersonal skillso Advanced knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materialso Proficiency in project management software (e. g. , Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project)o Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and other technical documentso Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilitieso Knowledge of local building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulationsWork Environment & Physical Demands:

• Ability to work on construction sites, often in varying weather conditions. • Must be able to stand, walk, and climb ladders or scaffolding as needed. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. We offer a competitive salary range between $80,000 and $105,000 plus a bonus plan and inclusion in our company benefits package.

While we will initially reimburse mileage on a per km basis – the successful candidate will receive a company vehicle upon successful job performance. Our days can be flexible and occasionally require overtime, but generally are Monday to Friday from 8-4: 30 in Calgary and the surrounding area.
