Cambodia: Senior Site Engineer

Recent works include:A high-end international-standard bar project An 800 m² meat-processing facility A 5,000 m² pet-food factory A multi-site fuel-station rebranding rollout Various bars, restaurants, villas, and steel-build projects The team is expanding and seeking a hands-on Site Engineer to support day-to-day construction activities across multiple job sites.ResponsibilitiesThe Site Engineer will oversee civil, structural, and general construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, correctly, and according to drawings. This role suits someone who is practical, organised, and confident supervising trades and contractors in a fast-paced environment.Supervise daily site construction activities, including civil, structural, and architectural works. Check and interpret drawings, ensuring accurate execution on site. Coordinate subcontractors (steel teams, concreting crews, carpenters, finishing trades). Ensure quality control for foundations, concrete works, steel erection, brickwork, and finishing. Conduct site measurements, set-outs, levels, and layout checks. Report progress, delays, and site issues to the builder and project team. Monitor material usage and coordinate incoming materials and deliveries. Enforce site safety standards and ensure safe working practices. Support villa builds, steel fabrication projects, hospitality fit-outs, and factory construction. RequirementsDegree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. 2+ years site experience preferred (hospitality, industrial, or mixed-use beneficial). Solid understanding of structural works, steel assembly, and general site operations. Ability to read construction drawings accurately. Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills. Able to work full-time on site within Phnom Penh or nearby provinces.
