Job Title: Driver Location: Talladega CollegeDepartment: Finance and FacilitiesPosition Type: Full-timeKey ResponsibilitiesOperate the bus in a safe and effective manner to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of lifePick up and deliver employees, students, and guests as per a scheduleOperate the bus in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies, and proceduresPerform safety and maintenance checksClean the bus as scheduled and/or requiredEnsure the bus is safely and securely storedMINIMUM EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE.Valid driver’s license/Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) are required. High school diploma or equivalent is requiredA valid CDL license with air brakes and passenger endorsement is requiredAbility to be insurable is requiredBe able to work as needed for students and the instructors is requiredMust provide courteous treatment of and assistance to visitors, be able to work frequently in a seated position, high degree of attention required to prevent injury to others and damage to vehicle when operating car, truck, or buses on campus and public roads and experience in long-distance driving required.
