Location: Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant, RomaniaStatus: Full Time, Permanent/Term or ContractJOB OVERVIEWCNPSA is seeking a results-driven professional with CANDU refurbishment knowledge, experience, and skills, to join our team of dedicated leaders in Romania in the role of Superintendent Quality Assurance and Quality Surveillance supporting Cernavoda Unit 1 Refurbishment program.Reporting to the Project Director refurbishment, the Superintendent Quality Assurance and Quality Surveillance will utilize their refurbishment experience to achieve project objectives on time, on budget and in compliance with applicable quality assurance and safety standards.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESEvaluate activities of the contractor(s) who will participate in the execution of the project to ensure that they have implemented a quality assurance program that meets the requirements of Cernavoda NPP (Nuclear Power Plant)Ensures the development of the Quality Assurance Program, applicable to the Refurbishment Project, its documentation and implementation, aligned with the requirements of the integrated management system of Cernavoda NPP.Verifies the procurement initiation documentation from the point of view of introducing the quality management requirements, in accordance with the applicable CNCAN normsVerifies the fulfillment of the applicable quality management requirements, in the performance of the contracts related to the refurbishment projectEDUCATIONA bachelor's degree (or higher) in EngineeringQUALIFICATIONSWe are seeking a results-driven professional who has the following:• 20 years relevant experience in QA/QS, with a minimum of 10 years of experience working with CANDU and Refurbishment Nuclear Power Plants.• Comprehensive understanding of CANDU technology and operations• Expertise in QA processes and procedures as applicable to CANDU Nuclear Power Plants• Demonstrated capability to manage, lead, and escalate as required• Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality products under tight timelines and high pressure to support unit restart schedules• Excellent problem-solving skills and experience in leading technical projects to successful conclusions• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and have demonstrated a high commitment to qualityPRIVACY POLICYPlease note that by submitting an application, you understand and agree that Laurentis or CNPSA may require you to provide certain personal information to facilitate your application and potential employment.
