Job SummaryThe Sales Coordinator is an inside sales professional who is passionate about selling the sports and recreational experience with a truly differentiated competitive advantage.
They are primarily responsible for uncovering additional sport surface sales and booking opportunities through effectively managing the complex's surface flow including contracts, spot rentals, public programs, third-party tournaments, and in-hours tournaments. This role supports the entire sales and community outreach process; from bringing awareness and promoting the complex’s products and services, to the introduction of the complex to the prospect, to maintaining ongoing communication throughout the ‘life-cycle’ of the customer.

Developing and promoting Public programs, including PA Day and Stat Holiday programsManaging the equipment rental programDeveloping new 3rd party tournaments, spot rentals ice contracts opportunities Developing non-traditional rental opportunities such as commercial shoots, corporate events, etc. Retain all existing Contracts, In-House Tournaments and grow surface sales with targets provided by the Manager, Sales & Customer Care and General ManagerManaging the ice flow in the operating system (ASHL, Ice Contracts, Spot Rentals, Events, etc.
) Responsible for all contracts are duly signed (including payment terms) Managing payment plans for Ice contracts and other eventsConducting regular competitor analysis of like or similar services Other duties as assigned by the Manager, Sales and/or General Manager Under the guidance of and with the Manager, Sale:
Assist in the development and execution of a fully integrated direct sales strategy for the complex, ensuring a proactive and aggressive approach to revenue development, through Strategic Sales, and community outreach plansProvide assistance to the General Manager in the creation of the annual sports surface plan maximizing all opportunities for all in-house Products, Community Program Initiative, internal and external tournaments, contract holders and special event initiativesAssist in the discovery, development, and relationship-building opportunities within their market through contact, to create new customer revenue opportunities and maximize revenue from existing customersInput into the monthly and quarterly review process to analyze the effectiveness of the surface sales planWorking regular shifts as the Manager On DutyAssume responsibilities of the Community & Events Coordinator as needed (vacations, off days, etc.
)Team (Effective Work Group) Development and Customer Focus / RelationshipCustomer Focused, Customer RelationshipsUnder the leadership and direction of the Sales and Customer Care Manager and General Manager, ensure complex customers experience “best-in-class” experience, customer care and overall satisfactionProvide assistance in ensuring contract customer relationships at complex level from an initial single point of contact responsibility through ongoing relationship development for the purpose of revenue maximization and long term business sustainabilityUnder the leadership of the Sales Manager, be responsible for the creation and execution of in-house tournament initiatives and acts as in house point of contact for all 3rd party eventsDecision Making and ResultsManage Financial Accountability And Administrative RequirementsUnder the direction of the Sales Manager, provide assistance in the management of the signed contracts, and accounts receivable process as it relates to the contract salesProvide assistance in regular reporting requirements providing complex performance to plan and providing strategic recommendations and/or analysis to meet and exceed planOther duties as assigned by the Sales Manager.
