Job Description

Packaging AssociatePackaging Associates play a key role in the production environment. A Production Associate is responsible for carrying out all daily packaging, labeling, and cleaning procedures that maintain Temescal Wellness’ highest standards of high-quality cannabis medicines for our patients and customers. Associates package cannabis and cannabis-infused products into their shelf-ready state for sale at dispensaries. They closely adhere to all Packaging SOPs and policies, and closely inspect products for quality assurance, flaws, and imperfections. They are also responsible for maintaining the high standard of cleanliness that our state-of-the-art cannabis production facility requires. Associates will utilize their great organizational skills and attention to detail while packaging a variety of high-quality cannabis medicines and products, in strict compliance with state and local rules and regulations.ResponsibilitiesPackage product according to schedule for the given day Ensure compliance and accuracy of packaging SOPsTrack and log all products and batches worked onAccurately count products for final packagingDaily cleaning routines and activitiesAssist in keeping track of non-cannabis inventory Follow and execute the company's standard operating proceduresRequirementsAt least 21 years of ageHigh energy, enthusiasm and the willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job doneAbility to work with uniformityData entry skillsExperience with Google SuiteDetail orientedTime management skillsWorks well in a team environmentAbility to pass a comprehensive background checkAbility to stand on hard surfaces for extended periodsCan physically lift up to, not exceeding, 50lbsAbility to complete multiple project with excellent follow-throughStrong verbal communication skillsFamiliarity with METRC seed-to-sale software is a plusExperience with the use of Biotrack and Bartender, Ability to print labels from premade templatesFamiliarity with Massachusetts policies and regulations governing recreational/medical cannabis productionCompensation and Benefits:Competitive hourly wage of $18 per hour Mission-driven organization with an excellent work-life balanceTemescal Wellness is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
