Car Hauling Dispatcher

PCC is looking for Car Hauling Dispatcher We’re hiring an experienced Car Hauling Dispatcher to manage daily load assignments, optimize routes, and coordinate drivers across local, regional, and long-haul runs. You’ll be the operational hub—ensuring efficient utilization of the fleet, timely deliveries, and excellent customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesDispatch and assign car-hauling loads; schedule drivers and coordinate pickups/drop-offs.Monitor driver locations and ETAs via GPS/telematics; manage electronic logs and DOT compliance.Communicate proactively with drivers, customers, brokers, and internal teams; provide status updates and resolve issues.Optimize routing to minimize deadhead and maximize asset utilization.Handle driver incidents (breakdowns, weather, delays) and arrange contingencies.Maintain accurate load documentation: confirmations, bills of lading, delivery receipts.Collaborate with sales/brokers on rate negotiation and load acceptance when needed.Prepare daily/weekly operational reports for management.Qualifications2+ years dispatch experience in car-hauling, flatbed, or OTR hauling preferred.Strong knowledge of auto transport operations and DOT hours-of-service rules.Proficient with GPS/telematics, TMS platforms, and Microsoft Office.Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work flexible hours and manage after-hours issues.
