William Joseph Communications (WJ) assists clients in achieving their business goals through the development and execution of strategic marketing. WJ helps clients develop marketing strategies that are directly tied to achieving business objectives and expertly implement the necessary tactics.In order to meet clients at the intersection of “now” and “next” WJ relies on bold and resilient marketers to move the needle. WJ is currently looking for their next Account Director to join their growing team. In this role you will work closely with clients and the internal team to ensure all client projects and objectives are achieved. The Account Director is integral to the client journey as they represent the daily interactions with clients and help to execute marketing strategies and long-lasting relationships, driving the growth of the accounts and business.Accountabilities: · Guides client brand, strategy and implementation and ensures team stays on strategy and accomplishes client objectives ·        Leads all client communications - listens to client, responds to calls/emails in a timely manner, provides clients up-to-date information on their projects(works with project manager to support day-to-day communications on projects)·        Finds innovative ways to serve clients who are non-responsive to traditional project steps and processes·        Provides education and training to client to ensure client understanding around marketing and agency process·        Ability to problem solve and provide recommendations and advice to client at every turn·        Works closely with Project Manager and internal team to ensure all client projects and objectives are achieved, creating long-last client relationships ·        Responsible for overall client satisfaction and retention, account growth (sales), maximizing client value  The right candidate will demonstrate on their resume:·        Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications and advertising·        5+ years of experience working in an account service capacity·        Previous work experience within a marketing agency ·        Previous exposure managing multiple projects with competing timelines·        Demonstrated understanding of marketing strategy and analytics, including but not limited to brand, campaigns, content, social, digital, and web.During the interview process, we will be looking for behaviors that demonstrate:·        Exceptional interpersonal skills with a “can do “attitude·        A creative, dynamic, flexible approaches to problem solving·        Outstanding presentation skills·        A positive and collaborative working style and a willingness to work within a team environment·        Demonstrated relationship management skills, specializing in negotiation and leadership·        Confidence to manage competing priorities and ensure deadlines are met·        Ability to thrive in a technology and KPI-driven organizationAt William Joseph, everyone’s opinion matters, and idea generation is the most important product of the collaboration as a team.
