Job DescriptionLocation: Choice Care, Suite 16, Blackburn Enterprise Centre, FurthergateAre you looking for a new challenge and a return to care work?Do you have experience of providing care to people and are looking for a way back into social and community care?Would you like to be trained to work in the care sector whilst being paid to train and gain nationally recognised qualifications?Many of our carers have been with us for over 10 years and some over 20 years, one won Carer of the Year at the Great British Care Awards, so we must be doing something right, and our carers have regular work and hours that fits perfectly within their work life balance in the area. You will need to be available from 7am - 2pm and/or 4pm - 11pm and have the use of your own car.At Choice Care, we provide the best possible care and support for those that need it - including people coming to the end of life, those with dementia, sensory impairment, physical difficulties, learning disabilities, Autism and many more – enabling our clients to live their own homes with dignity and enjoy the best possible quality of life.We are a Preferred Provider for Blackburn with Darwen Council, Lancashire County Council, the NHS and Clinical Commissioning Group as well as private clients. We are a family business and have been providing care in the area for 26 years.We prefer face to face training so with a starting hourly rate of £12.25 per hour, you will be trained in our training room by our nurse and experienced management team then start work. But the training doesn’t stop there.
