POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for coordinating all shipping related activities within Materials. Take charge of all shipping activities, coordinating timely processing and smooth flow of materialsCollaborate closely with internal departments to ensure flawless communication and efficiency across the boardExpedite work orders and track materials, ensuring that everything is where it needs to be, when it needs to be thereInvestigate and resolve any shipping variances, focusing on root cause analysis and corrective actionsTrack and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) daily, keeping leadership informed and on targetEnsure shipments are processed on time, every time, aligning with the schedule and maintaining a high standard of accuracyManage all shipping-related documentation, verifying accuracy and ensuring compliance with required regulationsOversee compliance with customs requirements, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), FedEx/UPS protocols, and moreCoordinate materials sent to and from suppliers and customers, ensuring smooth logistics at all timesParticipate in regular team toolbox meetings, contributing ideas and updatesProvide leadership with weekly operational excellence updates, driving continuous improvementKeep the materials department stocked and ready with all necessary suppliesPlay a key role in inventory accuracy and achieving goals by reducing obsolete inventory and ensuring timely release of work ordersHelp develop and implement policies, tools, and guidelines that enhance the success of our processesSupport the Materials team in meeting budgetary goals for supplies, labor, and operational expensesWHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience/Knowledge: Experience in warehouse operations, logistics coordination, or similar roles Skills: Computer skills (Excel and word) and inventory management software, Communication skills and Organizational skillsOUR WHY: We exist to move people.
