Role Description Bancs Building Contractors is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter for a full-time, on-site role located in Swansea. The Carpenter will be responsible for performing general carpentry tasks, including framing, finish carpentry, and using hand and power tools to construct and repair structures. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with team members, reading blueprints, ensuring projects are executed with precision and adhering to safety standards. The role also involves maintaining equipment, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship, and meeting project deadlines while exceeding client expectations. Qualifications Proficiency in carpentry techniques, including framing and finish carpentryExperience in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectivelyAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsStrong understanding of construction safety protocols and proceduresAbility to work well independently and collaboratively as part of a teamPhysical stamina and dexterity to perform hands-on construction tasksPrevious experience in residential or commercial construction is an advantageNVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in carpentry is preferred
