Cash Application Specialist

Position: Cash Applications Specialist ContractorPay: $25–$29/hourLocation: Norcross, GA – In-Office – Contract – 2+ monthsReports To: Finance ManagerOverview:A dynamic company is seeking an experienced Cash Applications Specialist to join its Finance team. This role will be responsible for applying payments for 2+ months. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy with a strong understanding of Cash Applications and excellent communication skills. This position utilizes Epicor and Concur and supports both internal and external financial operations.Key Responsibilities:Process daily Cash Applications transactions in Epicor – Credit Card, ACH, and Wire transfersAnswering questions as calls come in about billingResearch overpayments or underpayments, then accurately apply check, cash, and credit card payments to correct accountsHelp process sales orders as well when someone goes on leave in DecemberTroubleshoot accounts and resolve issues quickly – outstanding freight chargesReconcile cash if you have that experienceRequirements:1-3+ years experience processing Cash Applications, including Credit Cards, Wire,s and ACH payments – the more complex the betterWork in the office in NorcrossDegree a plus
