AboutBumblebee Preschool and Montessori is an Early Childhood Education center for children aged 3 to 6. We offer different services for kids, including traditional and Montessori approached preschool groups, as well as different classes for toddlers, like art, music, English and cooking.PositionRole: Head TeacherReports to: Manager Position summaryThe Preschool Head Teacher leads the educational program across all preschool age groups. This role includes developing and implementing the Cambridge Early Years–aligned curriculum, mentoring teachers, and ensuring the highest standards of care and learning are maintained throughout the preschool. ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor teaching staff to deliver developmentally appropriate, child-centered education.Design and oversee Cambridge Early Years–aligned, play-based curriculum that fosters holistic child development.Lead classes and conduct lessons when required, ensuring high teaching standards and continuity of learning.Provide classroom coverage for teachers when necessary, supporting the smooth operation of the daily schedule and maintaining consistent quality of education.Support teachers in planning, implementing, documenting, and reflecting on classroom activities and long-term projects.Ensure classroom environments promote independence, creativity, and safety in accordance with early childhood regulations.Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers.Model effective teaching strategies and positive behavior management techniques.Coordinate parent–teacher communication and organize parent conferences three times per year.Participate in assessment and documentation of children’s developmental progress in alignment with Cambridge Early Years standards.Engage families through inclusive communication, meetings, and community events.Promote equity, inclusion, and respect for diversity across all aspects of the preschool program.Maintain professional knowledge through ongoing training and Cambridge development workshops.Plan and deliver in-house training sessions for staff on Cambridge methodology, classroom management, and best teaching practices.Job ProfileRequirements Experience working with preschool and toddler groups in a leadership or senior teaching role.Minimum 3 years of experience in local or international schools.Strong knowledge of the Cambridge Early Years Programme and play-based learning principles.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).CELTA certification is an advantage. Personal qualitiesStrong leadership and teamwork abilities; able to motivate and guide teachers effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children, staff, and parents.Creative, flexible, and proactive approach to classroom and curriculum management.Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.Committed to continuous professional growth and maintaining high educational standards.
