Together we can do more.The Pharmacy team at Shoalhaven Memorial Hospital is a close-knit team who work across a variety of specialty areas including intensive care, cardiology, paediatrics and special care nursery. As part of the upcoming SMH Redevelopment, the Pharmacy Department will be moving into a brand-new, purpose-built pharmacy with cutting edge technology, including the introduction of a pharmacy robot. This new technology gives us facilities better than most metro hospitals while enjoying the wellbeing benefits of a coastal lifestyle.For more information and to view the position classification, see the Position Description here.A Little About Us.A new purpose-built pharmacy will be opening early 2026, with specialist facilities including automation, dedicated clinical trials pharmacy and new aseptic dispensing suite. A separate oncology/hematology day unit pharmacy with aseptic dispensing facilities. The introduction of pharmacy robot as part of the redevelopment making SMH the first regional NSW hospital to have this technology. The hospital has an Intensive Care Unit focusing on high dependency and coronary patients, Children’s Ward and Maternity Unit, as well as a purpose-built regional Cancer Care Centre and sub-acute Mental Health Unit.The hospital is currently undergoing a significant $440M redevelopment that will redefine how healthcare is delivered within the Region.
