As part of the upcoming SMH Redevelopment, the Pharmacy Department will be moving into a brand-new, purpose-built pharmacy with cutting edge technology, including the introduction of a pharmacy robot. A separate oncology/hematology day unit pharmacy with aseptic dispensing facilities. The introduction of pharmacy robot as part of the redevelopment making SMH the first regional NSW hospital to have this technology.
